Strong tempo with Cosmo Anthology and Dream Cruise leading from Mirada Caliente and Matenro Bravo. LOVELY JUBBLY (1) found the line nicely last start to get up for a close second over 2000m at Nakayama when fresh from a break. That was her first defeat at start three. Enjoys a gun run from gate one and gets her chance to go one better. EVER GROOVE (8) was heavily backed and justified the support when resuming last start over 1800m at Hanshin, scoring by half a length. Was a winner at the only previous second-up run so a repeat performance is on the cards. COSMO ANTHOLOGY (10) went forward when resuming last start over 1800m at Sapporo and held on well for second, beaten 1.3 lengths. Should roll forward again and will be prominent for a long way. MATENRO BRAVO (7) is having his first run since April 13. Has a strong record when fresh with two wins from four runs, the most recent over 1600m at Chukyo at the start of last prep.
