A few sit handy but there won't be a great deal of early pressure. AGERA (3) was an impressive winner last time over 1600m at Te Rapa, winning comfortably by more than 2 lengths. He has to carry an extra 3 kg this time, but the extra 400m will suit him, and he can repeat the dose. DIAMOND JAK (2) came with a well-timed run to score by a nose over 2100m at Ellerslie last start, and even though he is up in weight, he is more than capable of repeating the dose. DROP OF SOMETHING (1) failed to fire as favourite at Ellerslie last start but did have an excuse. He is worth another chance. ROSETOWN PRINCESS (7) won't lack fitness, and with the aid of a 4kg claim, she will be very competitive again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Agera is the one to beat.
