Looking for I'm Still Me, Blue Genesis and Guard Of Honour to press forward and set a solid tempo. SKY STRIPES (8) turned in an eye-catching effort on debut last start when fourth at Chukyo over 2000m, beaten 3.5 lengths, after spotting the leaders a big margin on straightening. Can take a lot from that run and should be too smart for this field. MIKKI MERMAID (1) raced once in the maiden preparation when fifth at Kokura over 1800m back on July 12. Can improve sharply with that experience on board and is expected to feature. GUARD OF HONOUR (5) stepped out for his debut over 1800m at Fukushima back on July 13 and finished fifth, beaten 6.9 lengths. Plenty of scope for improvement this prep so keep him in mind. SEIUN AZUR (4) ran a bold race on debut last time out, beaten 1.1 lengths into fourth over 2000m at Nakayama on September 13. Has upside and can measure up.
