In the absence of noted leaders, Mr Worthington and Castello Grande may be the ones to set a moderate tempo. The well-related PROFOUNDLY (2) (half to G3 winner Sebonack) was well in the betting at the Gold Coast at the latest effort but just ran into a couple better on that occasion. Strips fitter third-up from the spell and gets in well at the weights with the 3kg claim. Should be right there at the business end. DUSHENKA (1) returned in good order with a close-up second and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and is capable of taking this out. CONTINGENCY (5) saluted in easier company on debut and will have taken a bunch of confidence from that victory. Has earned his shot at this level. CASTELLO GRANDE (4) had been improving with racing and that culminated with a dominant Sunny Coast victory last time out. In the mix.
