A moderate tempo expected despite the big field.
PROVOKER (1) returned from a spell last start and made it four minor placings from five starts when a game third after leading over 1200m at Eagle Farm. Just missed last prep over this course and distance. Should cross, dictate, and give this field something to catch. ADORABLE THOUGHT (10) is a So You Think filly on debut for the Lockwood/Vincent stable. Best of five trials was the latest one at Doomben when third. Three siblings to race are all multiple winners so she should have ability. NORTY FORTY (16) settled midfield and failed to improve last time out over 1200m at Toowoomba. New to this trip which looks the right move. Can improve. MISHANI MOET (15) hasn't been far off the mark all prep. Good effort most recently over this distance in much better company. Not out of the contest. WHATA SORT (9) is ready to show something at the third run back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Provoker.
