Good early pressure anticipated with a large number of first starters. The baby colts and geldings kick us off. THREEEYEDWITCH (9) is unlucky to still be a maiden finishing runner-up in both runs last campaign before being tipped out for further time to furnish. Has since tuned up for this with two recent trials and has race experience over a few of these. Rates the testing material against this line-up. XTRAVAGANT JOHNNY (10) is facing the starter for the first time but has showed ability at the trials and is sure to be well-educated out of the Gollan yard. Looms as the main danger. DRAGON MAGIC (2) gets some weight relief with the 2kg claim and can run a big race while fresh. SNIPER BOOM (8) is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and will be at peak fitness for this. In the mix. SIR JAMES (13) next in line. SUGGESTED PLAY: Threeeyedwitch to shed the maiden tag.
