A solid tempo on the cards with King Cartel leading the way. TREBLE MAKER (11) went up to 1400m at the end of last campaign and failed as favourite at Belmont. She went for a spell following that run and she rates highly on her form over 1200m prior. No doubt set for this first-up down in the weights and looks the one to beat with her upside. EEVALINA (5) sat up on the speed last time out at this track and trip 13 days ago when only 1.1L off the winner. Chris Parnham hops in the saddle now from a good gate where she can settle on the speed again. Can run up to her figures last start and play a major role. CORN COB (1) bolted in two back before a disappointing run last time out at Belmont. Back on top of the ground and with a favourable set up today, he can make his presence felt. MISS WALL STREET (7) jumped favourite in a CL5 last start at Bunbury and wasn't beaten far. Is a track and trip winner here previously and has claims. COMMISSIONS (4) is not out of this if he can bring his Broome form onto the Turf. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Treble Maker in the last.
