Mr Marrakech to take up the running at a moderate tempo. MR MARRAKECH (1) delivered a hat-trick and then showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish a head back in third over 1200m at this track. In the top barn and is nicely placed to go a couple better. Stablemate PRINCE RUBAN (4) is back in Darwin after a first-up run at Mornington where he dropped away from the pace at long odds. He flies this track/trip and has been freshened 29 days. Todd rides and the betting will be key. JULY (5) switched from a Queensland yard and was placed here in a CL2. That stacks up and he tumbles in weight. Fitter and has to be considered. ORION THE HUNTER (2) has been freshened and went well enough here two back to consider. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Mr Marrakech.
