Strong tempo from Ariel and King Of Selection. GENTLEMEN LEGACY (4) was too good at the end of last campaign when scoring by 0.8L over the 2000m journey. He's looked good in his two trials back and the 1800m journey first-up looks ideal. He went to a new level when out to this trip last season and he can kick off on a positive note. JOY OF SPRING (3) was very good first-up over 1400m and now stretches to his preferred distance. Vincent Ho replaces the apprentice hoop and he's a won 2/4 at this track and trip. Second-up form is a bit iffy, though this looks a very suitable race and if he can build on the fresh effort, he'll be hard to hold out. WROTE A NEW PAGE (8) made it a hat-trick last start when scoring narrowly when setting the tempo up front over 1650m. Up to 1800m for the first time now and he has the speed to work across from out wide. Can play a major role once again. CAMBRIDGE (2) ended last campaign on a positive note and he can pick up from where he left off.
