Genuine tempo with Regent Jade leading the way. J L MASTER (2) lines up for the first time since May 3. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 2000m at Nakayama then belted a maiden field here at this trip before spelling. Has found the right race to launch his third prep. FUN TIME GIFT (7) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing fifth over 1600m at this track three-and-a-half months ago. Rates highly and should take some beating. EDWARD BAROWS (13) is a handy type who resumes after a break of four months. At his last appearance he finished seventh over 2100m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Backmarker who should be picking them up late. VENT FRAIS (12) didn't disgrace herself at her last run before going for a spell on 22 March, finishing eighth over 1800m in the G3 Flower Cup at Nakayama. Makes plenty of appeal back in this company.
