Progressive three-year-old who was tested at stakes level a couple of times in the maiden prep. Finds the ideal race to launch his second campaign. MOZU K STAR (14) lines up for the first time since August 2 when he bolted in at Chukyo Dirt, the only appearance of that prep. Expect him to play a major role. HIMINO ETOILE (5) improved last time out at the third run of the campaign, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1400m at Hanshin Dirt. Nicely placed to take this out. POMPIER (16) showed pace to the turn but tired late when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt, beaten 2.5 lengths. Fitter and sure to offer a bit more this time.
