Reasonable tempo with Aftermath probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. SASSY LASS (9) was a fair seventh when resuming over 1600m at Te Rapa nearly 3 weeks ago. She generally improves with racing, and her trainers would love to win the Cup on their home track. Watch the market moves. ONE BOLD CAT (1) did nothing on a very puggy track when resuming over 1400m at Otaki 4 weeks ago. He also needed the run, and if he doesn't need this hit-out as well, then he is more than capable of taking it out. MALI STON (2) finished fifth at his second run back from a spell over 1200m at Te Rapa. He will be spot on with his fitness third up, and he has a strong record here on his home track. Each way. MY LIPS ARE SEALED (6) ran on nicely fresh up at Ellerslie, and drops 2.5kg second up here. She is a top 4 chance this time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mali Ston will be hard to beat.
