Strong early tempo with Welly and Rockrata leading the way.
RAPID CHEVAL (2) tackled a BM70 over this course and distance last start and did a fine job to be beaten only 1.4 lengths after looming up upon straightening. Back in grade today and will be rock hard fit after three runs back. Looks one of the better bets on the card. BLUEPRINT (8) did his best work late and finished a close fourth over 1600m at the Sunshine Coast last time out when second-up from a spell. Won his only race when third-up. Likely improver who poses the greatest threat. AMAHNI'S GIRL (6) led all the way for an emphatic maiden win over 1540m on the poly track recently. Lightly raced mare capable of going to this next level. GREEN MEADOWS (5) shouldered 60kgs and didn't do a great deal when resuming at Beaudesert 16 days ago. Gets some weight relief today and can improve over this slightly longer trip. ARISTELLA (7) is trained here and is an each-way hope down in the weights. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Rapid Cheval.
