Cobra Club should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep him honest.
WITHOUT PEER (1) went back from a wide gate before working home well for third in the 1400m Ming Dynasty last start. On that run he looks perfectly placed out to the mile. All three runs to date have been on wet tracks which is the only grey area. RUINATION (6) has raced on the pace and impressively taken out both his races to date, each time over shorter trips than this on the provincial circuit. Looks ready for the step up in distance. Big test here but looks up to it. Not a lot went right for FLYING ORCHID (3) in the Ming Dynasty, his first failure in three starts. Can bounce back with the blinkers going on for the first time today. ATTICA (7) was safely held as favourite at Kembla recently. Lightly raced colt who may also benefit from the application of blinkers. NEXT JEN (11) comes out of the Princess Series in which she struggled. Gets a weight pull on the boys and might be looking for the mile so she is worth throwing in the exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Without Peer on top but this is tricky.
