MY LUCKY CHARM (7) was runner-up on debut then just missed the frame when straight to 1700m latest. Further improved and off the low draw expected to go close this line-up. OLYMPIAN GOLD (1) was unplaced on debut then runner-up in the two runs since. Just missed this course and distance two back. Top rider aboard and off the inside will go close. CARNARVON (2) has been racing well without winning over shorter races. Placed only try at 1400m and steps to a mile for the first time. Has the claim and low draw and expected to measure up. THOONSIL (9) finished third on debut a month ago over 1400m at Vaal, beaten 8 lengths. Has good upside and the extra trip is a plus.
