Just a moderate tempo headed by Outspoken Lad, Gage Roads and Dont Wait For Luck. KERVETTE (8) dropped back to 1400m last start and still jumped favourite, finishing only 1.8L away in a close finish at Belmont last time out. Pike replaces the apprentice hoop now with the rise back up to 1400m a big tick for her. Ticks plenty of boxes and is the one to beat. DECISION MAKER (5) flew home from well back to score last start over 1650m at Belmont and turned in a strong figure there. His best form seems to be with the sting out of the ground, which is some niggle, though if he can run up to his latest effort, he'll go very close to winning again. ODINAKA (2) is racing in good order and finished behind Decision Maker last start, beaten 1.8L. He meets that runner better at the weights today however and if he gets some luck from the inside gate, he'll be there to strike. DONT WAIT FOR LUCK (7) is not to be discounted after starting fav in his past couple here. CHANGING GUARD (4) hasn't been far away his past couple and has claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kervette looks the one to beat.
