The big field should ensure a genuine tempo. LUCKY LAD (2) is a talented galloper with five stakes wins already including two at Grade 1 level. Carried a big weight to a third fresh over 1200m at Vaal and is well placed here on his record with much less weight and over the longer journey. Expected to go close. TIN PAN ALLEY (12) is a promising type resuming. Placed in Grade 1 company and did win only try fresh. Hard to beat off the low draw. CHOISAANADA (8) was flying towards the end of last campaign winning three on end culminating in a Grade 3. Won only try course and distance and goes well fresh. Bold showing expected despite the wide draw. NYAKA NYAKA (13) broke through for an overdue win last time here. Fit and in form and with the featherweight looks a chance at odds.
