NUM TIME COMMENT
1 11:54 SEACORP PLATE 1100m
The presence of a few first starters will keep the speedy Rainline on her toes. The 2YO's kick things off and SIREN ASSAULT (1) looks the one to beat on the quick back up from the Karrakatta last week. She was right in the market there and while beaten 5.1L, she stuck on well over the closing stages. Back to this trip looks ideal and if she handles the back up she'll take plenty of beating. RAINLINE (9) bumped into a smart one at Pinjarra on debut and we'll get a good line on that form on Thursday. Pike sticking is a big tick and she'll have come on from that effort. Looks an improver and can make her presence felt. SHOW THE WAY (3) ran over the top as favourite to get the job done over 1000m here last time out. Rises in weight but continues to improve and can be finishing strongly once again. GOLD FLAKES (8) is still looking for her maiden win but wasn't far away when leading last time out. Brad Parnham rides now which is a good push for her chances. BATTLE COMMANDER (2) is never far away and must be included.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Siren Assault in the first.
2 12:29 TABTOUCH - WESTSPEED PLATINUM HANDICAP 1000m
Strong early tempo with Just So Sassy, City Angel and Smokey Mountain leading the way. Difficult race to assess but CRIPPALENKO (5) looks the best suited. Jumped equal favourite over 1200m here last start and probably didn't run out the journey. Back to this trip now looks ideal and he maps to get every chance. Can bounce back in a big way. STAR POWER (6) made it three wins in-a-row when holding on to win narrowly at the midweeks last time out. That rating was good, but she's never won at this trip which is a big niggle. Brad Parnham riding is a positive sign though and winning form is good form. GO GO GROMMET (3) was stretched in trip at the end of last campaign and didn't see out the extra trip. Now 101 days between runs and resumes without a trial. Goes well fresh though and is right in the mix on best form. BREAD TO FLIRT (2) usually improves third-up into the campaign and has placed 4/7 at this trip. PLATINUM CLASS (7) is always thereabouts and is not to be discounted.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Crippalenko.
3 01:04 GLENROY CHAFF HANDICAP 1000m
Avoidance to go to the lead at a genuine tempo. BRAVE STRIKE (6) has contested plenty of strong races in her career thus far and looks well placed in this event. She comes in with just 1 trial under her belt and the inside alley can help her chances off the start. She'll be better over further but her class may carry her all the way. BARNEY'S WORLD (4) ran over the top to score over this course and distance last week in impressive fashion. Maps for a similar run this time with Chris Parnham in the irons once again. Has plenty of upside and it wouldn't surprise to see her go back-to-back. STORM COMMANDER (1) was a good winner over 1100m at Bunbury last time out and rates highly off that effort. This is tougher, but it's hard to ignore the way he did it last start and he's more than capable of knocking this off. MADAM KISSES (2) has scored 4 of her five career wins over this trip and can mix it on her best form. HANG GLIDER (5) can bounce back after a disappointing effort last time out.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Brave Strike gets the nod.
4 01:41 MORLEY GROWERS MARKET HANDICAP 1200m
The speedy Ice Pick Nick should find the front with No Change and Multinational on his heels. Impressive first-up winner MALKAR PINDARI (5) appears the one to beat again with the added fitness on her side. She ended up a long way back 21 days ago but was just too good, winning by 0.6L. She may be a touch closer this time and suspect we haven't gotten to the bottom of her yet. She can bring up the hat-trick. TRIPLE JAY (7) just missed in a strong race a fortnight ago when a long way back in the run. He gets a much better draw this time and Pike hopping back in the saddle is a huge tick. Can sit much closer than recent efforts and land the knockout blow. ICE PICK NICK (4) failed a fortnight ago when out in trip and may be better suited back to this distance. Was trending the right way prior to his last start disappointment and if he can get back to his prior form, he won't be far away. AMBER GLIDE (3) creates interest resuming without a trial and is not to be discounted.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Malkar Pindari.
5 02:19 PKF PERTH HANDICAP 1600m
Keen battle for the lead between Happy As Larry, Bondi Plunge and Cool Memory in advance of New Music and Right To Silence. ON PATROL (4) finished with a head full of steam second-up and just missed, beaten 0.2L over 1400m. The rise in trip looks ideal now and he's drawn to settle a touch closer from gate 2. Campbell takes 2kgs off and if he can improve again third-up, he should be getting the job done. BONDI PLUNGE (7) has been very consistent through this campaign and now stretches to the mile which could suit. Only a length behind On Patrol last time out and she maps for the run of the race from an inside alley. Expecting her to be right in the finish. FLY WITH CAUTION (1) is looking for the hat-trick after a big win over 1400m here last time out. Steve Parnham taking the ride is a big tick and he keeps improving with every run this time in. Lightly raced and still has more to come. WARRALEA LASS (9) was just a cut above at Albany last start and won't be far away in this tougher assignment. COOL MEMORY (3) is racing well without winning and is worth including.  SUGGESTED PLAY: On Patrol can can get back into the winners stall.
6 02:55 SHEILA GWYNNE CLASSIC 1400m
Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Miss Esprit. The feature of the day and LACED UP HEELS (4) goes on top. She was game in The Joey when narrowly beaten and that rating is ahead of what her rivals have produced. Has won on the quick turnaround previously and she should get every chance in the run. Just has to hold her form to be winning. BABY PARIS (2) should put up a good fight though, darting up the fence to score first-up. That rating suggests she was close to her best, but is open to improvement with a strong second-up record. Sticky draw, but has the class to win a race of this calibre. REAL DANGER (3) had her chance last start but should be right in the thick of the action again. SAPPHIRE STREET (8) is very progressive and can't be discounted.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Laced Up Heels in the feature.
7 03:35 BISLEY WORKWEAR HANDICAP 1400m
Genuine tempo expected. DIALLING (6) was too strong when getting the gap and bursting away to win by 1.1L on the line. Suspect drawing away from the rail may suit better and CJP sticking is a big tick. Out to this trip is no issue and he can bring up back-to-back wins. ENCHANTING SOUND (8) got the job done over 1200m last time out and hits this event third-up and in career-best form. She remains down in the weights for Chris Parnham and she should get every chance from the draw. She looks the main danger. FAST FLICKER (5) bounced back last start with a good run over this course and distance, beaten just 2.4L. Paul Harvey has won 3/5 when partnering the mare and the draw is no issue as she's likely to get back anyway. She can be steaming over the top of them late. KICK A GOAL SON (4) got a long way back first-up but this looks to suit him much better. Include.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Dialing can make it two wins in-a-row.
8 04:15 NATIONAL PUMP AND ENERGY HANDICAP 1200m
Expecting Cross Statement to take up the running with Becalotti and Red Square close at hand. BECALOTTI (3) was only knocked off late last start by a progressive galloper and she should be fitter for that effort today. She's a winner second-up in the past and her ratings suggest there's still some improvement to come. Can sit on the speed and take plenty of beating. CROSS STATEMENT (1) led them up last start but couldn't hold off a smart one over this track and trip. He does rise in weight today, but he's hard fit and he should make a good fist of it from up on the pace. CHOLLIMA (7) impressed first-up last campaign before running in the Burgess Queen prior to a spell. No trials coming in is interesting, but the booking of CJP suggests she's ready to go. Nice alley and she won't be far away. LORD LALA (5) has won a trial in readiness for today and his form last campaign reads extremely well. PLAYZ WITH FIRE (4) gets Pike in the saddle first-up and is not to be discounted.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Becalotti.
9 04:50 PETERS INVESTMENTS HANDICAP 1600m
Solid tempo headed by Allez Allez and Lord Gannicus. DESENNEA (1) wasn't far away when closing off well over 1400m last time out and looks primed for this race. Now third-up and out to the mile with Pike on board from a good gate. Trending the right way and he ticks plenty of boxes in the last. LORD GANNICUS (2) was too classy in the Narrogin Cup last time out but was very effective over this trip prior to that win. Form out of his last run at this track and distance two back makes for good reading. Classy animal who'll give a good sight from the front. SOWAR (6) ran over the top to score here a week ago and drops back in trip slightly. He's always around the mark and he has gone close on the quick turnaround previously. Should be in the finish again. CATCH THESE HANDS (5) disappointed here two back but won well at Albany last start. Inside draw helps his chances. STRIKE NOW (4) closed off well fresh and can run an improved race out in trip.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Desennea in the last.
