Ladbrokes Popular SRM Maiden Plate 1600m
Without a great deal of early pace evident Ranselot may lead the way over Tisseyre. TISSEYRE (5) finds the right race third up from a spell. The fresh run at Geelong was good before tackling a stronger maiden last time at Sandown Lakeside, not far away in fifth on that occasion. She gets the right run up to 1600m now and can break through. AUTUMN DIAMONDS (1) ran a good race first up here over this trip when sticking on for third. Any improvement off that run sees her right in the finish. RANSELOT (4) resumes as a 13-start maiden. She'll be better over further but this is a nice kick-off point in a fairly thin race. ZEYNO (7) is a filly by Pierro on debut for the Sandhu yard. Jump outs have been just fair but she can run well. KADDARI (3) could sneak into the money. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Tisseyre. |

Minuteman Press Narre Warren Handicap 1200m
Genuine tempo with the speedy Quebeck leading the way. GOLDEN SPRITZ (2) resumes. He was in great form last time in, not missing a place in five starts. Expect improvement with his first real spell under the belt and he's jumped out well. On top in this suitable race. QUEBECK (3) was okay fresh in a bunched finish five-and-a-half weeks ago when midfield over 1200m at Yarra Valley after being in the leading division around the bend. Has some gear changes and fitter can feature. MAMUNO (4) returns from a lay-off. Ran sixth in a jump-out at Sandown-Hillside. Can be working home late. YEAH RIGHT (5) has been out of the money recently including last time out when fourth over 1000m at Mornington two-and-a-half weeks ago. Gets chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Golden Spritz to win. |

Bunyip Equipment Maiden Plate 1200m
Although on a small field the presence of some unraced runners should ensure a solid clip. Wary of ASTIQUER (6) who debuts. She's a filly by Capitalist out of G1 winning mare Nettoyer for the Hayes yard. She's been jumping out well and finds a nice race to kick off in. STERNIN (11) is another to have had a few chances, also coming off a second placing at Hamilton. She was only run down late there and should be in this for a long way too. ATTUMA (1) resumes having struggled in a good maiden here on debut. No surprise to see her do much better this time around. DUN GRACEFULLY (3) showed decent improvement at her second career start last time out, finishing second over 1200m at this track. Worth consideration. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 6,11,1,3. |

Skye Excavations Maiden Plate 1000m
Weasel Sea is the likely leader at a strong tempo. WEASEL SEA (4) has placed in all three runs to date, sticking on well for third last time at Seymour. He'll cross from out wide and give a huge sight. ANDJULIET (6) is a filly by Russian Camelot on debut for the Robbie Griffiths yard. She's been jumping out well and looks ready to go from a good draw. Watch for any market confidence. BLONDIE'S AWARD (7) just found one better first up at Sale and should take some beating with added fitness. DONEBRAVO (1) has been unplaced at all three runs this campaign, the latest when fifth over 1113m at Sale. Finds a suitable race and is a top-three contender. SUGGESTED PLAY: Weasel Sea to break through. |

Travis Harrison Apprentice Cup 1000m
A solid tempo on the cards with Marilyn's Edge heading them off. BLETHYN (2) struggled last time in stronger company at Morphettville. He won two on the bounce prior and will be hard to hold out. DAPPER DARRI (3) ran on well fresh at Sale to get within a length. He can come on from that and go one better. BLACKBERRY BOMB (4) has been below her best in recent times. She flies second up, expect sharp improvement. POCKET SIZE (9) has been ordinary since resuming, the latest effort an eighth over 1000m at Ballarat three weeks ago. Had excuses on that occasion and fitter third-up can show something. MARILYN'S EDGE (7) is stepping out at this course for the first time. Last appeared when she scored over 1000m at Mornington on April 5. Can feature. SUGGESTED PLAY: Blethyn to bounce back. |

TJ Harrison Plate 1400m
White Hot Mama is the probable leader in the small field. SKETCH (2) did enough first up here over 1200m, battling on well for third, beaten 2.5 lengths. That trip was always going to be on the sharp side, expect quick improvement going to 1400m now from a soft draw. Her form last time in reads well for this. WHITE HOT MAMA (3) won well first up here having shown ability in three runs last time in. She looks to have come back much better and can go on with it from a good draw. ROSE SANGRIA (1) just got over the top of them last start at Mornington over 1200m and looks suited up in trip off that win. She can measure up. TILL QUEEN (4) struggled in town last time, the maiden win prior was solid and she could bounce back. FEARLESS MONARCH (5) can be forgiven for the heavy track flop last time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sketch to win. |

Ladbrokes Sabaj Mile Series Heat 1 1600m
Pace strong with Finance Shogun and Immerse leading with Dancing Dolly nearby. FINANCE SHOGUN (1) finds the right race. He won three on the bounce prior to last start, tackling a stronger in town with a race that didn't really work out. Comes back a notch here and should take plenty of catching. COULDTHISBETHEONE (2) wasn't far away last time at Sale having won narrowly prior at Yarra Valley. He maps for an ideal run and back slightly in trip suits. DANCING DOLLY (8) was heavily backed first up at Bendigo, just fair there when battling into fourth. She can improve quickly and expect her to kick up and hold the leader's back from the inside gate. IMMERSE (7) made good improvement second up at Sale and can go on with it from an ideal draw. THE NEGOTIATOR (3) hasn't been far away of late and is in the each-way mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Finance Shogun on top. |
