TURFMATE INTERNATIONAL 3YO MAIDEN HANDICAP 1300m
Genuine tempo with Farset leading the way. FARSET (1) six-start Maiden set to get off the mark today third-up. Took control early from the inside gate and nailed late with the 60.6kg for a narrow second over 1350m at Wyong. Can slide across from the wide gate and is expected to handle the conditions. SIMPLY UNIQUE (6) Snitzel filly who drifted back on debut before finishing a close-up fourth over 1100m at Canterbury. Extra trip in her favour and shapes as the main danger. FITZCLARENCE (3) stalked the good tempo at his second career start with a most improved second over 1200m at Kembla Grange. Like the way he attacked the line last start and gets map favours again. WEE WINN (8) was unwanted in betting on debut before running a respectable on-speed fourth over 1300m at Kembla Grange. Slight querying in the going but must be kept safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Farset looks to find his race. |

TITAN AG F&M MAIDEN PLATE 1400m
Without a recognised leader, Vondel and Obsidian Dream will likely set the pace. SIMPLY UNIQUE (5) Snitzel filly who drifted back on debut before finishing a close-up fourth over 1100m at Canterbury. Extra trip in her favour and shapes as a leading contender in a very weak contest. ALNAIR (1) returned for her second campaign with a gritty on-pace second over 1250m at Newcastle in the small field. Desperate for this trip and further now and must be kept safe. OBSIDIAN DREAM (3) dropped back a level third-up with an improved second over 1300m at Canberra. Can roll across from the awkward gate and is expected to take a hand in the finish. SUCCESSFUL IMPACT (6) Fierce Impact filly out of Successful Day on debut for the Maher stable. Has made improvement in all three trials and not to be underestimated. SUGGESTED PLAY: Simply Unique and Alnair shape as the two leading chances. |

ADVANCED SEED BLACKSTONE SUPER MAIDEN PLATE 1100m
Solid tempo with Reign Of Honor, Reign 'Em In and Rogue Nation going hard, closely attended by Tszinsi. PEARL OF DUBAI (9) ran fourth in the G3 Widden first-up and has since finished runner-up in two strong contests. Seven weeks between runs heading into this and worth noting she finished second to Magic Time in the G3 Black Opal over 1200m at Canberra on a soft (7) track. Go close. YATTAZOU (8) eye-catching return two-back, then jumped in trip and struck trouble in the run with a struggling last over 1300m at Warwick Farm. Tongue-tie goes on and can return to form quickly in this company. REIGN 'EM IN (3) improver set to peak at her fourth career start. Sat on the fast tempo with a tough third over 1000m at Muswellbrook. Claim helps and should handle the going. WEEKEND MARKET (7) went back from the outside gate second-up and savaged the line late with an eye-catching fourth over 1100m at Wyong. Well drawn today and can race much closer to the speed. Each-way. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pearl Of Dubai gets her chance to shine. |

SYNGENTA TREFINTI PROVINCIAL MAIDEN HANDICAP 1600m
Moderate tempo with Classic Two leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. CLASSIC TWO (1) had mixed luck in Hong Kong and is expected to go close third-up in a winnable contest. Sat on the good speed before fading to run fifth in a tight finish over 1350m at Wyong. Placed at the trip and will prove hard to run down with map favours. SATONO JASMINE (7) strengthened over the break with an encouraging on-pace third over 1350m at Wyong. Can get off the mark quickly this prep and overcome the sticky gate. PROPANE (11) deep into the campaign and finally draws a low gate. Covered plenty of ground in the run when he jumped in trip for a fading seventh over 1900m at Newcastle. Blinkers go on and deserves another chance. AURORA EFFECT (3) massive flop as the ($1.30 fav), when covered early ground and over raced with the blinkers added for a tiring ninth over 1600m at Wyong. Blinkers come off and has placed in the heavy going. Improver. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 1,7,11,3. |

ADAMA MIDWAY CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1600m
Strong tempo with Percolate, Above The Law and Brannum leading the way. FLYING GREY (5) launched late from last on the turn with a solid first-up victory over 1350m at Wyong in the soft (5) conditions. Will keep improving as she gets out in trip and can keep the winning momentum going. BRANNUM (4) raced without luck all prep and struggled to see the 1900m out when he dropped out sharply to finish eighth over 1900m at Newcastle. Earlier runs had merit and is proven in the going. POLO (6) underrated filly who can get the campaign back on track third-up. Desperate for this trip now after she went back from the wide gate and failed to run on when twelfth over 1300m at Kembla Grange. Kept fresh and the cross-over nose band goes on. Each way player. ARANESE (10) hard fit for this and placed twice over the 1600m. Gripped on late to secure fourth over 1625m at Wyong. Kept fresh and will be in this for a long way with the claim. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 5,4,6,10. |

FLORATINE PRODUCTS GROUP CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1100m
Expecting Miss Farnan to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. MISS FARNAN (5) created a good impression when making her winning debut at Canberra last December. Sat on the speed in a muddling run race on resumption with a plugging third over 1100m at Goulburn. Has the speed to get across from the sticky draw and will take holding out with the weight drop. SEDUCTRA (6) resumed in a much weaker contest when she demolished her rivals to get off the mark over 1100m at Gosford. Takes on the older horses again and gets map favours with the tongue-tie going on. MATIMA (1) underrated gelding who resumes with the one trial. Best form is on rain-affected tracks and expected to go close despite having to shoulder the 62kg. DUBBO BOY (4) anchored with the 61kg first-up with a tidy on-pace fourth over 1100m at Goulburn. Has never been out of the placings second-up and proven in the going. Worth thought. SUGGESTED PLAY: Miss Farnan will prove hard to run down. |

TURFCARE AUS BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 2100m
Aussie Nation to take the lead and control the tempo. AUSSIE NATION (3) consistent gelding racing in career best form. Up in grade when he stalked the speed for a courageous second over 2100m at Tamworth in BM85 grade. Winning rider hops back aboard from the good gate and is expected to go close in this weaker race. GRANDINI (11) consistent mare who doesn't have to improve much in this easier contest. Has won twice from her last five starts this time in. Drifted back early and chipped away late when sixth over 2100m at Wyong. Adept in all conditions and has genuine top-three claims. LOTS TO LOVE (8) third-up for this and his lone victory came at this trip. Sat on the speed and peaked late with an encouraging sixth over 2000m at Kembla Grange. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. SCOTTISH PEARL (5) two runs back have only been average after progressing quickly in stronger company last preparation. Placed on heavy going and deserves another chance at the each-way odds. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 3,11,8,5. |

ELITE SAND & SOIL CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1300m
Plenty of pace established by Written Gold, Peschiera and Tango On, with Girly Pop close at hand. Tricky race to end the day. ETON (1) finally lived up to expectations when resumed for his second campaign with a dominant 4 len Maiden win over 1200m at Wagga. Produced a solid set of figures first up and expected to go quickly through his grades this time in. CALL ME SASSY (7) consistent mare with her hoof on the till third-up. Savaged the line from the wide gate with an unlucky second as fav over 1250m at Newcastle. Lone victory came at the track and shapes as the main danger. PESCHIERA (4) I Am Invincible mare who returns from a lengthy break. Placed in stronger company in town last preparation and primed for this with the two searching trials. ELLISMAYNE (5) much better performance second-up when he sat on the speed to finish a close-up third with the 59.5kg over 1300m at Goulburn. Maiden victory came on a rain-affected track and set to peak with the big weight drop. SUGGESTED PLAY: Eton and Call Me Sassy are expected to fight it out. |
