Most recently finished fifth over 1968m at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. Give one more go. GOLDEN MASK (1) is knocking on the door, just finding one better his past couple. He'll be up on speed which can be key around here. LUIGI THE BRAVE (2) is racing well through similar races and has each way claims. ROCKIN' DEE FOX (3) can be fitter and has some hope. Full Of Knowledge and Weasel Sea can be prominent. WEASEL SEA (6) goes on top. He was well backed on debut at Ararat to start $2.50 and ran well, sticking on for a narrow third over 1100m. He should only be better for that and back to 1000m looks no knock with Stackhouse booked. REGINA DEI RE (8) resumes having run fourth at her only run last campaign. She did start $1.95 there and has the ability to be taking this out. HEIDI DANCER (10) has shown talent in three runs to date, just finding one better over this route last time out. She won't need to improve much to be breaking through. SOVIET STRIKE (5) resumes. He can be an improver this time around, watch the betting. DESERT FALCON (9) was tested in good company last time and this suits. SUGGESTED PLAY: Weasel Sea to win. |

Expecting Divine Empress to take up the running with Ironic Fortune and Sassidora close at hand. Race has been cruelled by scratchings of several anticipated key chances. Suspect YES CHICCI (12) is the main beneficiary of the change in race complexion. Was doing her best work late when fourth on debut at Colac. Will have derived valuable race experience and fitness from the run. BRUTAL TEMPO (4) is a gelding by Brutal on debut for the Kavanagh yard who has jumped out fairly well and looks to have good ability, respecting at each way odds. DIVINE EMPRESS (8) led and was collared late at Kyneton last start. Should be peaking third up and will be hard to catch. Race has a number of each way hopefuls still early in their careers, namely SASSIDORA (10) and IRONIC FORTUNE (6). SUGGESTED PLAY: Win bet Yes Chicci. |

Cracking tempo with Quebeck and Silver Top Ridge leading the way. CRIPPS (1) comes up from Tasmania in flying form, a winner of his past two. He'd already shown solid ability in Victoria early days and now that he's found a bit of form in some decent races down South, he can go on with it. PAPARAZZO (5) is racing consistently, not far away at Pakenham last time out in a 0-62. Stackhouse sticks which is a good sign and he'll be hard to hold out. QUEBECK (4) resumes. He didn't really fire last time in but the fresh run wasn't bad and he's got the ability to be winning. SMALL TOWN HERO (6) has just found one better at his past couple and looks to get a good run just behind the pace here. Respecting. SILVER TOP RIDGE (7) is racing well this time in and has solid claims up on speed. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cripps to win. |

Strong tempo assured with Marilyn's Edge, Lim's Teide and Lujaego rolling to the front. THAT'SMONEYBROTHER (8) resumes and looks well placed. He had three runs last time in, just finding one better in a decent maiden on debut, ending up in a 3yo race at Flemington behind Pallaton. That stands out here and Stackhouse on from a good draw should see him go close. MARILYN'S EDGE (11) resumed with a good run at Caulfield Heath over this trip, just finding one better. If she gets across early, she'll take catching on this track. NOT SURPRISED (7) is a lightly raced type who was solid first up in a stronger race, right in the market there. Wary of improvement from the inside gate. LIM'S TEIDE (3) is coming along well and is in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: That'smoneybrother to win. |

UNDERSTUDY (1) comes through a better race than this, working home well from midfield to grab third at Sandown Hillside, beaten just half a length. Up in trip here, he can land in another good spot and get the job done. HERE COMES RUBY (8) wound up strongly last time out to finish 1.3 lengths adrift in second over 2100m at Horsham. She'll be hard to hold out. WHISKY MOON (5) is off a let up and back from 2400m. This might be on the sharper side but he'll be staying on. ALMAGO (7) is third up off a solid run at Pakenham in similar company when fourth. Peaks now and draws to effect. Moderate pace from Quamby taking it up with Gregolimo and Wymark on his back. Competitive Yarra Valley Cup. Main chances come through the Wangaratta Cup, which was won by NEW YORK HURRICANE (3) in a good performance. With even luck from gate one he'll be very hard to hold out again. WYMARK (2) stuck on well for third there when firmly in the market and draws for a good trail. GREGOLIMO (9) split the pair in second at Wangaratta and will take catching around here. MY BROTHERS KEEPER (10) brings the Sunsets formlines and has claims as well. GO DADDY (1) was making good ground late on resuming at Caulfield at big odds. Expecting a strong gallop with Madesian and Diamanda taking up the running over Norwoods. DIAMANDA (12) is flying, taking her picnic form to Stony Creek & Kyneton and winning her past couple. She'll put herself on speed again and can win once more. MADESIAN (8) resumes for his second campaign having won his maiden before a spell easily at Tatura. He's got upside and can go on with it. TOPMOST (10) is consistent and maps for every hope from a soft gate. If he gets 1500m he'll take some beating. DEADLY PRESS (4) was okay fresh at Terang in a bunched finish and will be fitter with each way claims. COULDTHISBETHEONE (11) wasn't beaten far last start at Cranbourne.
