Lakeside Conveyancing 3YO Fillies Maiden Plate 1212m
Anticipating good pressure with many of these facing the starter for the first time. Some likely types among the debutants. SUPERIOR DAME (12) is a $1 million yearling on debut. She's won all three jumpouts, and Brown sticks from an impressive showing at her latest. Promising, and this is winnable. OBUCCI (7) resumes, and she raced in Stakes grade on debut. She's placed both jumpouts and has an insider barrier. She's shown enough to feature. CHATEAU EZE (2) debuts, and her latest jumpout was good. Has an awkward gate, but Dee is a positive jockey booking. STORMBENDER (10) didn't finish it off at Ballarat on debut and has jumped out well enough. Expect her to go well. AMEDEI (1) is another debutant who profiles well. Respect the stable. SUGGESTED PLAY: Superior Dame looks progressive. |

Marshalls + Dent + Wilmoth Maiden Plate 1212m
Many of these step out for the first time so a genuine tempo is expected. Tricky. PHAROAH'S GLORY (9) resumes and was nudged out in all three starts last preparation. She will be naturally improved, and her jumpouts point to a bold return. LAND BANK (3) looked a run short at Seymour on debut and will be sharper with that under the saddle - and over the longer sprint. He'd jumped out positively and is in a sharp metro barn. HOMEWARD (7) resumes and has shown enough to suggest she can feature. She won her most recent jumpout in good style and can hit the line hard. Wary of ZAYYANO (13) on debut, and the race day betting moves will be key with him. Well-bred, and he brings a string of sharp jumpouts. Has the blinkers on, and Dee is a positive jockey engagement. Has to go in. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pharoah's Glory on what we've seen. |

Malua Racing Maiden Plate 1612m
Not seeing a great deal of early speed. RASP (6) is busting to win and just missed two back as a $2.90 favourite at Warwick Farm. He's well placed in this contest and is the one they have to beat. GEE AND TEE (9) peaks and is heading in the right direction. Maps for a soft run, and the blinkers are on for the first time. HERE LADY THINKABELL (10) was last seen 44 days ago, placing at the Sunshine Coast. She was narrowly beaten there three back and rates well. She's likely to be presented forward. COMES WOZZA (2) has been narrowly beaten at her last two and expect him to push forward today. A chance with average luck in the run. MONEY WHEEL (5) will be fitter and goes into the exotics at least. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Rasp. |

Ken King Thoroughbreds Maiden Plate 2100m
Nicoffhome to roll forward and dictate terms. Archibald-trained LOTS TO LOVE (5) has been nudged out at Sale at both starts this preparation. Stepped up to 1700m last time, and it was a tough effort. He maps for a soft run, and the middle distance should be right up his alley. Promising, and he should have this field well covered. COWARRIE (1) didn't have the best of it at Bendigo this distance range and then led on a heavy track there and weakened out. Better off here and is on a 5-day return. Peaks and is a quinella hope. Ditto THA MAESTRO (9) who hasn't had the best of it since a 1.8L defeat at Wodonga. Maps better today and has scope for improvement. GRUNNETTAN (3) comes back to the turf on a 7-day backup. Is running out of chances, but won't be far away at best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Lots To Love. |

CA Sinclair Pork Wholesalers BM56 Handicap 2100m
The trio Makamae, Top Arctic and Vision Thing will set a strong tempo. Competitive. MAKAMAE (9) brought strong form to resumption and just missed at Cranbourne over a mile. She was expected to win stepping up to this trip at Wodonga after and was plain on a heavy track (vet cleared). Gets in well with the 3kg claim and has been kept on the fresh side. In good hands, and she's worth another chance. THUNDERING FALCON (7) just missed at Geelong and is still shy of his best. Has to come back 300m, but maps well and is a player. TOP ARCTIC (5) just missed at Wangaratta following the Maiden win, and he'll get every chance positioning forward from an inside barrier. FLASHLIGHT (2) improved when missing a whisker on the synthetic 50 days ago and has been kept up to the mark with a jumpout. He races forward and back onto the turf won't be an issue. Up to this at best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Makamae. |

RMBL Investments Rising Stars BM56 Handicap (Apprentice Riders) 1412m
Plenty of pace with Besson and Boulder Jack leading from Tomanado. BOULDER JACK (5) comes back plenty in grade and has placed 2/2 third-up. The 1.5kg claim is handy and she will run along from an inside barrier. Rated well and will go close. MAID IN DUBAI (1) resumed in stronger and looks a run short. She's proven second up and has won 2/2 here, including over the distance. The 4kg claim brings he right into it. VILLE DE LUMIERE (10) was quickly back on track, working home strongly on the synthetic. She will be better for that and is likely to race forward today from an inside barrier. Should get every chance to see out the longer distance. SHEER LUNACY (3) likes it wet and is back in grade on a quick return. Always puts in, and the 3kg claim is handy. A hope as well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boulder Jack appeals most. |

Mortgage Finance Solutions BM56 Handicap 1212m
In the absence of noted leaders, Brooklyn Baby and Brenlyn's Trooper may be the ones to set a moderate tempo. DANXIA (3) brought strong form to Geelong first-up in a 64 but drew wide on the heavy track and didn't get into it. Faced a similar track there following on a soft surface and impressed, beaten 1.7L after covering ground. He is still well shy of his best and has a low barrier today and a handy 3kg claim. Well-graded and is the one to beat. RUPERTS RED ROCKET (1) improved again winning a 58 at Wodonga on the heavy Finally draws a decent barrier, and the 3kg claim brings him right into it. BRENLYN'S TROOPER (7) won a 50 and then was better again beaten 1L at Wangaratta. Has the blinkers on again and can get some of the prize money. BROOKLYN BABY (10) has been within range his last two and drawn for a soft run, she won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Danxia to win. |

Royal Hotel Benalla BM56 Handicap 1212m
They should run this along with Kimono and Rosie's Prophecy taking it up over Vonk. STOLEN (4) resumes and has switched to a leading metro stable. She raced well at the back of her maiden preparation and has jumped out well for her return. The 2kg claim is handy in easier and she's capable of using an inside barrier. FRIENDZONED (8) also finds easier and assess her chances on the 1.3K defeat at Cranbourne two back when she finished hard after drawing out. The gate is tricky again, but she will be in the finish if things work out. RUNAWAY SOUL (5) peaks and has been within range at her last two. Has been kept on the fresh side, and Egan is reunited. In the mix. SHEILA (1) pulled up with an issue at Albury, but she was a big 58 winner at Wodonga prior, riding the speed on a heavy surface. The 2kg claim is handy and she can give a sight at a price. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Stolen to win. |

bet365 Bet Boost BM62 Handicap 1612m
Plenty of pace evident with Lord Domino and Vagabond Hero leading the way from Breezy Bon and Biden Time. YACHIYO (5) is another strong winning chance for the sharp Price-Kent stable. He was heavily bet beaten 2L at Sandown-Lakeside first-up, after an awkward start. She won her only second-up outing and has more up her sleeve. She maps for the run of the race. SOUND OF JURA (3) drew wide and came from the back winning a 64 here over this trip, and there was plenty of merit in the effort. The 1.5kg claim helps, and stripping fitter, he's an each way hope. VAGABOND HERO (4) is third-up seeking the hat-trick off spacious synthetic wins. Just has to bring that form for the turf to feature, and John Allen sticks aboard. SMART POPPY (1) has an awkward gate but brings strong form from the synthetic and tumbles in grade with a 4kg claimer booked. Has claims if things work out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Yachiyo to win. |
