Expecting a strong gallop with Uhtred taking up the running. KEEN ON BUBBLES (9) placed two starts back at New Plymouth but couldn't back it up last time there, finishing sixth over 2000m. She can be hard to catch, but looks to have a fair bit in her favour this time. Don't drop her. BUNDY (2) is on a quick turnaround after a strong third over 2100m at Otaki eight days ago. He is still in his initial campaign, and he should be hard to hold out again. SMARTROAD (4) surprised many with a comfortable win over 2000m at New Plymouth on a very testing track there 3 weeks ago. He stays in the same class and can repeat the dose. PIPER'S SON (3) failed to fire over 3210m at New Plymouth last time out, but has won here in the past, and will have the blinkers off this time. Don't drop him just yet. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen On Bubbles should go close to taking this out.
