PIKO TENDER (13) has recorded three minor placings from three starts this preparation, the latest a fast-finishing second as a well-fancied conveyance over 1200m at Niigata Dirt. The step up to 1400m has come at the perfect time. SPLENDEUR (9) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt. Has good stats at today's trip and should be right in the finish. POD BEL (5) lines up for the first time since June 21. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt. One to consider. The unbeaten REMIGINO TESORO (4) resumes after a break of 12 weeks. Trying to repeat his debut win over 1400m at Saga to kick off last prep. Tackling JRA this prep which will be tough but he is talented.
