Expecting Sir Woodpecker to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. LUMINARY MISS (10) is spotting most of her rivals experience here, but she might have the talent to get her career off to the perfect start. Finished second at her first jumpout then won the next and looks to have the smarts to suggest she can play a key role here from a great draw. SIR WOODPECKER (4) has had only one start in each of his first two preps and gone under as favourite both times, including at $1.24 last time out. Hard to come into given that's the case, but he did look good in a recent jumpout win so we might have to give him one more chance. SECRET GLORY (11) has had sights lowered this prep and not really delivered, but there's obviously talent there given that races she was tested in last prep. Don't treat her too lightly. HIGHSTRUNG (7) was too bad to be true last start but raced consistently before that and has the talent to feature. EPOCH (1) will be better for the light debut prep and has trialled nicely. SUGGESTED PLAY: Luminary Miss each way.
