Winless for a while but finds a very winnable race this time. PEARL TROUT (1) stuck on well at Griffith when runner-up and looks nicely placed again. Expect another bold run. KERMA ART (4) doesn’t win often but hit the line strongly at Leeton into fourth. The claim helps and he looks set to peak. CRUSHEEN LASS (5) improved with a third at Jerilderie over 1400m. Quick back-up suits and she rates a genuine top-three player. FLEET DESTINATION (7) steps up in trip and drops in light with a handy claim. This is easier and he’s worth keeping safe.
