Plenty of pace on show, headed by Taegan's Champ, Confederate and Greaterix. Some handy gallopers engaged. GREATERIX (3) finished last campaign with a game fourth over 1600m in the G1 Horse Chestnut Stakes at Turffontein Standside on March 1. Has a win and a placing from two tries fresh and did win only start on the inside track here. Talented and will go close this class. CONFEDERATE (4) is another classy type who resumes. Was a Grade 1 winner on the turf here three back. Placed 2/2 when fresh and with the claim is right in this. BARBARESCO (1) was well off best form fresh but does go very well second-up. Loves it here and expecting sharp improvement. MONEY HEIST (5) won here over a mile last start and freshened since. Won only try at the trip as well. Tricky draw and up in weight but have to include.
