A solid tempo on the cards with Tavistock Dancer heading them off. FRANKIE'S ME DAD (6) didn't really inspire confidence last start, but a repeat of the start prior should be good enough to win a race of this nature. Beaten only a neck that day and finished in front of Tierra, who was an impressive winner at Kilmore earlier in the week. Should be at peak fitness now after three runs back from a spell and was probably going to drift back anyway, so the outside alley is not a complete disaster. BOOKMAN (1) could be one the hardest to run down and unlike a lot of his rivals here he has been fighting out the finish in races of similar grade to this. He's also fourth-up and ready for a peak performance. TAVISTOCK DANCER (3) backs up after breaking a long drought last week and should press forward from the wide draw. They look the main three chances. Of the rest, TOGANMAIN (5) might be next best as a recent placegetter who has drawn well. A BLUE STAR (8) might be the roughie who can sneak a first four spot. SUGGESTED PLAY: Frankie's Me Dad to win.
