Genuine tempo with Rule Maker leading the way. Decent maiden with many chances. LAUNCHER (2) gets the nod after a couple of respectable runs to launch this campaign, the latest over the mile at Eagle Farm where he was prominent from the outset. Has thrived since coming north this prep and is ready to break through. Waller's CAVARETTA (5) produced a much better performance last time out, closing in good style to get up for third over 1830m at Eagle Farm. Drops 2kgs under today's scale and can go on with the job now. ARTISTIC TOUCH (4) settled at the tail and was never a factor over the mile at Eagle Farm recently. Third-up today so she can improve and figure in the top three. SHARE TRADER (10) stepped up sharply in trip to 2060m at Doomben last start and failed. Better placed this time so watch for some progress. STOICISM (7) has been well found in markets of late and is racing well. Back in trip today but is very fit and should give a good account. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Launcher and Cavaretta.
