HAKSAN DARK HORSE (1) turned in a fine effort to score by half a length at this track and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. CHAN FAMOUS (3) finished 9 lengths behind the winner in seventh over 1200m at this track last start after lifting strongly to score two runs back. Settles back early but winds up late. Will prove tough to beat. LONG RUN BULPAE (7) fought on well for third last start over 1200m at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Well placed and should be in the finish again. GREAT STORM (4) is back at the races for the first time since July 13. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1400m at this track. Has to be respected.
