Astern Magic is expected to lead at a strong tempo. HOTIM ENGLISH (1) returns after a spell of seven months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1200m at this track. Rates well in easier grade and Todd's booking suggests he's pleasing. Expect him to play a major role. SABOR (2) stalked the pace when resuming at this track and trip last start working to the line well to miss 1L. Presents fitter and won't have to improve much to take this out. Note he has synthetic hoof filler again. FULL DAMAGE (6) peaks and would be a hope putting his best foot forward. Has the rail and should be around the mark. DANCER FOR MONEY (3) is hard to catch but tackles a bit easier with a 3kg claim. The longer sprint should advantage. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Hotim English.
