Lovin' Laughs to take charge ahead of Tottori at a solid tempo. HYPERNOVA (1) looks to bring the strongest form to this and he is the horse to beat. He hasn't done much wrong all campaign, including some placings in stronger races than this. From the draw, he should be able to hold a spot midfield where he can use his turn of foot. Todd Pannell is undefeated on the horse which only adds more merit to his chances. MELLIFLUENT (2) is still a work in progress but imagine he will improve into this second-up. TOTTORI (7) is the most interesting runner in the race. He romped home at his only start last year and has been off the scene since. Toeroek should get all the favours from the low draw and he can definitely run in the money. Expect BOLTED IN (8) can improve, while DAMPEN (10) can measure up if he returns to his better 2YO form from last season. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Hypernova to win.
