NAMURA CLARA (11) dug deep to win by a head two runs back at Hakodate then finished fourth over 1200m in the G3 Keeneland Cup at Sapporo last time. Finished ahead of many of today's key rivals on that occasion. Will strip fitter and is the one to beat. CRASPEDIA (7) is a talented colt who was 3 lengths behind Invincible Papa last start over 1200m in the G3 CBC Sho at Chukyo. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Expecting another bold showing. VEGA RISU (15) has been kept fresh for this since a respectable sixth in the CBC Sho at Chukyo eight weeks ago. Has the speed to overcome the draw. One of the main contenders. MEISHO SORAFUNE (3) was beaten 3.5 lengths into ninth at the second run back from a break over 1200m at Chukyo at his latest appearance. Well placed to make amends.
