Healthy Happy to take up the running with Hong Lok Golf and Tourbillon Prince close at hand. STEPS AHEAD (5) gets Purton in the saddle now second-up into the season following a solid return over 1650m at Happy Valley. Back to this track and trip looks a good move and he maps to be prominent in the run. Ticks plenty of boxes and looks the one to beat with improvement to come. CHIU CHOW SPIRIT (6) flew home first-up when right in the market, finishing 0.5L off the winner. He tends to dip in his form second-up, but this looks a slightly easier race on paper. Likely to get back in the run again but watch for him storming home late in the race. HONG LOK GOLF (1) burst onto the scene at the end of last campaign, winning 6/7 including four in a row prior to the break. His two trials this time in have been just fair however and that's a big query as he resumes here. Not willing to discount despite the plain outings recently. HUGE WAVE (10) can feature right down in the weights.
