Progressive type having first try this trip and with leafing rider back aboard expected to go close. DAS GUTE (8) ran a much better race last time over 1400m when runner-up here on the turf. Best form measures up and drawn for a soft run. Go close with a repeat of latest. PALANCAR (4) was beaten a lip two back then scored as favourite here last time. Has really taken to this surface and is drawn for a good run with cover off the inside. CHARLIE MALONE (6) is better than last couple of and will appreciate coming back in grade for this. Top hoop stays aboard and gets chance to find best.
