Strong tempo assured from Desafiador and Hagibis leading the charge. PRETTY PEARL (8) has returned in good order this campaign. Ran well but found one better last time over 1500m at this track after registering her maiden win first-up the run before. Leading contender. WHITBY ABBEY (5) struggled in a tougher race two starts back but last time appreciated the drop in grade and bounced back to salute over 1400m at this track. Among the leading players again. HAGIBIS (9) turned in a fine effort to score by a neck at this track and distance last start in a far better run. Anticipating another big run. FELIZ NAVIDAD (11) was disappointing when 11th in a 1500m contest at this track two weeks ago. Can turn things around.
