Moderate tempo expected with Enamorada likely to find the front over Siesta and Altermatum. Good little race. SIESTA (7) had always promised a fair bit and returned in good style to win her maiden at Geelong as favourite. She's bumped into a few smart types in her time and looks ready to go on with it now. ENAMORADA (5) couldn't have been much more impressive on debut at Ballarat, scoring dominant by six lengths. Didn't beat much there and the time wasn't overly fast but she's clearly very talented and can measure right up. CLIMB THE LADDER (3) didn't handle the heavy ground first up but ran a much better race at Sandown Lakeside last time. He sets up well tracking the speed and has the ability to win this. ALTERMATUM (4) resumes. She's a consistent mare who has bumped into some nice types in her career, second to subsequent Group winner On Display when fresh last time in. SEA POEM (2) is flying and can measure up again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siesta to win.
