Kintaro to take charge ahead of Gracetheace at a good tempo. ROCK HUDSON (9) settled well back in his last run but was doing his best work late when grabbing third over 1300m at Taupo a fortnight ago. He tries 1400m for the first time, and in this sort of field, he will be hard to hold out. FRACAS (1) charged home late last start but just missed by a neck over 1400m at Te Aroha 12 days ago. He has found the right field here, and he looks ready to go one better here. KINTARO (3) raced close to the pace last time out but failed to cop the heavy track, and faded to finish eighth over 1400m at Te Aroha. He has been placed in his only start here, which is an advantage, and it is encouraging to see Opie Bosson keep the faith. Stick with him. SAVVYSUPER (10) debuted over 1200m at Ellerslie on June 7, finishing eighth in a handy juvenile field. His trial form suggests that he has the ability, and he should not be underestimated fresh up in this. GRACETHEACE (5) needed her last start, and has not missed a cheque in 2 starts on this deck. Include. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kintaro can bounce back and win a race like this.
