Just a moderate tempo headed by Heza Grunt, Desert Madame and Flaming Ronda. CANTILEVER (2) has switched stables since his 1.3L defeat over 1650m at Belmont last time out. This looks an easier race on paper however as he drops back to Country level and the figures he's run recently stack up highly for this. Just needs to hold is form to be getting the job done. FLAMING RONDA (7) just missed two back before a solid effort most recently at Northam. Up in trip now is a big tick off what we saw from her last start and she's expected to sit closer in the run. Looks a big improver under these conditions. DESERT MADAME (6) disappointed first-up at Bunbury, though the form out of that has worked out nicely already. This looks a better race for her on paper and she can improve with that run under her belt. MUST BE NICE (5) was good from a mile back on debut and can put his best foot forward. HEZA GRUNT (1) can return on a positive note. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cantilever can get the job done.
