Strong pace from Rosa Incanta and Onmalone matching motors with Cosmonaut close at hand. Another very open affair. Settled on ONMALONE (8) who has showed pace in his two runs this prep, the latest effort a sound third over 1300m at Kembla where he copped some interference in the closing stages. Draws the fence and gets the blinkers on so this might be D-Day. Waller's BEVERLY HILLS (15) appears for the first time since a luckless fourth on debut over this trip at Canterbury ten weeks ago. Trialled well here last week and looks set for a positive return. YATTAZOU (17) was a little one-paced on debut back in June on a soft track. A few gear changes and firmer footing may signal a better start to this campaign. LOOK HERE (19) is going okay at the provincials but could go up a level with winkers and a tongue tie going on. A few others have legitimate claims, headed by PERFECT APPLE (9) first-up with McDonald to steer. SUGGESTED PLAY: Onmalone on top in a difficult race.
