Just a moderate tempo headed by Civic Fourwheel, Lunenburg and Aqua Treasure. AQUA TREASURE (5) has been struggling to find the placings in recent runs, finishing out of the frame two starts back and then only managing sixth last time here. She steps into a race that looks much more suitable and is expected to feature prominently in the finish. CIVIC FOURWHEEL (6) made an encouraging move last start, going forward and appearing a chance on the corner before tiring to fourth. Should be more competitive in this assignment and is likely to be in the finish again. SARANG (1) failed to hit the frame over 1100m at this track last start but is well placed this time and can improve sharply. BRIGHT HOSHO (7) was only ninth last start over 1000m but finds a softer contest here and can sneak into the frame in a race lacking depth.
