Loads of pressure, primarily from Vella's Best, Bev's Nine and Sunrise. WAY TO THE STARS (3) tough old sprinter retaining his zest for racing. Was five weeks between runs with a plugging sixth in the LR ATA-Bob Hoysted Hcp at Flemington. Kept up to the mark with a 1045m trial win at Randwick. Can stalk the speed and figure in the finish. ZEALOUSLY (7) Group placed sprinter who raced without luck last prep. Good fresh performer who looks primed for this with the two sharp trials. Can get over from the wide gate and play a leading role. CATCH THE GLORY (5) excellent first up win at Rosehill, then raced keenly early and faded to finish last over 1200m in the G2 Sapphire Stakes at Randwick. Was slow to recover on that occasion and gets a better set-up over her preferred trip. Each way. OUR KOBISON (6) consistent six-year-old gelding who returned with a gritty on-pace second over 1100m at Rosehill in BM94 grade. Strips fitter now with just the 54kg to shoulder. Can get cover early and take a hand in the finish. COLOURFUL EMPEROR (14) has claims on the limit. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 3,7,5,6.
