Strong tempo assured with Outback Girl, Enchantment and Kyoshi Boy rolling to the front. NEVER TOO MUCH (1) has been in the money in all of his 3 starts to date, including his best effort yet here 3 weeks ago when finishing runner-up as the favourite in the Welcome Stakes over 1000m. The extra 200m is the key, and he can go one better. COOL AS BLING (2) resumes from a spell that would have done him the world of good. A recent trial placing will ensure that he will be ready to rumble fresh. ZAFAR (4) makes his debut from the powerful Walker/Bergerson stable, and his North Island trial form has been very good. Opie Bosson takes the ride, and from a good gate, he will be hard to hold out. ENCHANTMENT (5) was too good for the top pick in the same race here 3 weeks ago, and she gets to carry the same weight. The extra 200m should not be a problem, and she can repeat the dose. FINAL TIME (6) was a game third in the same race as the top pick, and she is bred to continue to improve with more racing. Stick with her on an each-way basis. SUGGESTED PLAY: Zafar each way.
