Plenty of pace from the outset with Raikoke and Xarpo leading the charge. Sticking with the progressive KING TUT (11) who has won 2/3 this time in, just missing in the other when closing off strongly for second. He drops 5.5kg from last start and the slight rise to 1300m looks ideal. Tipping he can go on with it despite the rise in grade. DUCHESS ZOU (10) couldn't quite reel in the leader last start at Mornington when heavily backed as favourite. She's knocking on the door this time in and finds another suitable race to atone. XARPO (14) struggled on a deteriorating track at Caulfield last time when well fancied to beat a good one. She's consistent and sets up nicely on speed here with no weight on her back. RAIKOKE (6) presents third up having just missed at Terang last time. 1300m looks a good spot for him. LAA DE SHA (2) struggled last time but was racing well prior and can bounce back. SUGGESTED PLAY: King Tut to win.
