Genuine tempo with Vizstar and Power Of Success up front. STROMBOLI DELIGHT (9) went forward and gave a great sight first-up, beaten 1L over 1200m at Kilcoy. Was heavily bet and had come off an easy Maiden win here. Drawn to enjoy a soft run just off the speed and gets in light with the 3kg claim. She can go on with it now. RUMBLE TOWN (5) switched from a Victorian barn and was too good for the Maidens at this track, freshened 50 days. Races forward and his best form stacks right up. Strips fitter and he's a decent chance to repeat the dose. FRED'S MEMORY (4) didn't finish it off in stronger at the Gold Coast over 1400m but won his Maiden here prior over shorter. Has the rails gate and a 1.5kg claim and is better placed to make the frame. EXTOL (8) resumes and has switched barns following Mark Currie's retirement. Proven fresh and has good upside. Has a key gear switch but from the outside barrier Cartwright will need to be at her best. SIR MEMPHIS (6) will be around the mark id we forgive his latest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stromboli Delight appeals most.
