A solid tempo anticipated with Gypsy King and Pharoah's Glory ahead of Mallee Gold and Stormyfriendship. JET JITSU (2) scored a barnstorming win last start over 1607m at Stawell, coming from the tail to get up by half a length. He turned in a similar performance to win his only start here, so given the liking for the track and the fact he's back in form, he can win again. SHORT REPLY (9) will be tough to beat though. Going well for the new stable and lifted to score by half a length over 1512m at Geelong last start, which followed a good run at Kyneton. VINCENTINA (8) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished third, beaten just under a length in the race won by Jet Jitsu, so he doesn't need to improve much and he'll again be in front of the rival in the run. DESIGNS OF EIGHT (10) was terrible last start, but that might have been due to the Heavy track, and she only needs to repeat the good second in 62 grade the start prior to go close here. RAMPAZETTO (4) was also poor last start, but resumed with a big win and looks ready for this trip. SUGGESTED PLAY: Jet Jitsu to win.
