Loads of pressure, primarily from Amore Veloce, Without Parallel and Pareto.
Speedy mare TIME OF MY LIFE (11) returned to form last start, leading from the outset then pulling out all stops to just hang on over this trip at Doomben. Went close on a soft track back on Boxing Day so she should get through it. Will give them something to catch. MERCURIAL LADY (3) was backed into red odds but couldn't pick up Time Of My Life when they clashed at Doomben on 15 April. Cherry ripe after a couple of runs back and the addition of blinkers for the first time could be the answer. ZOUFANI (12) split the top two selections in that Class 3 at Doomben recently. Honest mare who enjoys a perfect run out of gate one, probably box-seating. Has a fine record here at the trip and looks certain to be in the finish. CHAMPAGNE LANE (15) made late ground to be beaten under a length when resuming over 1110m here last start. Loves the sting out of the ground and the slightly longer trip is another plus. AMORE VELOCE (5) is an each-way chance on the seven-day back-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hard race - backing Time Of My Life each-way.
