Plenty of pace evident with Coco Jewel and Archers Reign leading the way from Sea Of Qi and Sistine Chapel. This is tough and go wide in the multiples. BRUTAL SUE (8) wasn't too far away here this trip and then finished the race off well beaten 1.6L over 1315 at Ballina. Finally draws a low barrier and has the blinkers on for the first time. Metro-trained and gets her chance. ARCHERS REIGN (2) has run some tidy races on this surface and won't know himself switching back to 55 level. Maps well and Thornton is a positive jockey booking. Fronts on a 7-day return, and the blinkers go on again. CRYSTAL GARDEN (6) was heavily-backed winning his Maiden easily here three back but has been less effective on the turf here since. Better back to this trip but will need a good ride from the 2kg claimer. NEOCLASSICISM (3) has been plainer his last two but generally races well at the track and comes back a bit in grade. He can make the finish in a weak race if he puts his best foot forward. SHOOTING FIRM (9) won comfortably in maiden grade here three back and with average luck won't be too far away.
