From the wide draw Kaluakoi can cross and set up a solid tempo.
JENNI MOREESE (8) has grown a leg since the wet tracks arrived, winning four straight with the sting out of the ground. Came with a well-timed run to just arrive in time in a Class 6 over this course and distance last start. Sutherland has been on for all four wins and unites again. Stick with her. MR BUSTER (5) had his chance but was disappointing on face value in the same race as Jenni Moreese a fortnight ago. Expect him to be ridden cold from the wide gate which is more to his liking. Can bounce back at just the third run of the prep. KALUAKOI (10) led all the way to record a tough first-up win over 1350m here recently. Takes on a better field and jumps sharply in trip but with the light weight he can give some cheek. CAVALRY MAN (11) has settled near the tail of the field then rallied late to just miss the frame in his two runs this campaign. Looking for this trip although a firmer track would be preferable. I'M HEROIC (13) was an eye-catcher last weekend and is not out of it. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with the in-form mare Jenni Moreese.
