Plenty of pace from La Astro Chat, Gunz and Yes Yoshi vying for the lead, with a few others keeping them honest. Good race for some progressive types, perhaps none more so than the resuming YES YOSHI (15) for the in form Charlotte Littlefield yard. He's won both starts to date, heavily supported on each occasion and running good time winning at Caulfield Heath last start over one who has who gone on with it. He's been kept up to the mark with a couple of jumpouts and looks set to measure up. PURPLE STREAK (11) has won 2/3 starts, well backed in a strange, slowly run Vobis race in between victories. He did it easily last time on heavy ground and can measure up again. Not sure what to make of STREET ARTIST (12) and his first up run at Mornington. He was backed off the map but never really looked likely despite being beaten under a length. He can strip fitter and bounce back. JOB DONE (3) ran well in a stakes race in Adelaide first up and has to be included. CABRIOLE (17) won by 5.5 lengths first up at Geelong. The time was okay but the form has started to work out and he's always promised a bit. SUGGESTED PLAY: Yes Yoshi to win.
