Strong tempo with Dusty Bay and Bird Whistle leading the way over Regal Award. HORSESHOE HILL (11) comes here in peak condition and due for a change of luck fifth-up. Never got a clear crack at them along the inside with an unlucky sixth in the G3 James Carr Stakes at Randwick. Gets map favours again and proven at this course. Value contender. SKYHOOK (1) good colt ready to hit his straps third-up. Sat midfield with cover and got going late when sixth to Tempted over 1200m at Randwick in the G2 Arrowfield. Finds a weaker contest and did finish fourth in the Golden Rose last September. Each way. KARINSKA (9) good filly bursting to win a Group race. Kept fresh when she struck plenty of plenty of trouble in the straight to run a slashing third in the G3 James Carr. Fitter now and gets the right set-up for this. REGAL AWARD (6) plagued by wide gates in his two runs back and since kept up to the mark with a 1207m trial placing. Genuine contender if he can get cover early. BIRD WHISTLE (10) maps well for this after running out of her skin in the James Carr. SUGGESTED PLAY: Horseshoe Hill each way.
