Suave Mars to take the lead and control the tempo. CIRRUS (1) is a three-year-old colt facing the starter for the first time. By the champion Contrail out of Group 1 winner Vibrance. Should run very well with Lane a key engagement. SUAVE MARS (6) turned in a good effort on debut three months ago when 2.75 lengths away in third at this track over 1800m. Has not been to the races since that outing. Likely improver and is among the main hopes. TIDE GRAPH (10) returns after three-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a sixth over 2000m at Nakayama. Rates highly and is a chance to break through. SATONO STARLIGHT (2) finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 2000m at Nakayama, beaten 2 lengths. One of the better hopes.
