A solid tempo is on the cards with Mishpat and Brave Glow pushing for the lead ahead of Bombus and Steplika Lion. PACIERA (9) switched from the Currie yard and got too far back at The Gold Coast first-up. Was expected to need it regardless, and she will be a lot sharper today. has a low gate, and Butler. Rates strongly at best and gets his chance to break Maiden status. STEPLIKA LION (2) resumed at the Gold Coast and looked a run short. Has more to offer and can improve into the frame. AKIRA SAN (3) debuts at home and has been well educated. Placed his latest trial here on the inner track and she maps well. Doesn't look out of place in this lineup. SWEET ARMANI (6) can show more having his third start for the Healey yard. Needs luck from the gate but is in light with the 3kg claim. TOP LEVEL (7) drops back to a sprint kept on the fresh side. Has a wide gate to manage, but she should be running into it. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Paciera.
