Not a great deal of pace on paper so it may be left to one of the debutants to roll to the front. FINAL CRUSADE (2) missed a nose at Eagle Farm on debut and then was well supported in a $500,000 feature at the Gold Coast and pulled up with an issue. Has been freshened 49 days and has been kept up to the mark with a Doomben trial win. Well placed to win by the premier metro yard. MAGRITTE (9) was outgraded in Listed grade at Eagle Farm but impressed prior beaten 1.3L at Doomben. She also draws well and has a handy 2kg claim. The threat on what we've seen. O'REILLYS FLIGHT (5) won a trial but on debut found the grade a bit steep at Doomben. Better placed here and a 3kg claimer goes on. He'll improve and can get some of the better money. TESSA (13) debuts off a string of trial placings. Has a 2kg claim and looks set to race well. HIGH PROPHET (3) debuts from an inside barrier with the blinkers on. Showed enough in a recent trial to say he'll be around the mark. SUGGESTED PLAY: Final Crusade to win.
